Seiko Watch Corp. will market the world’s first wristwatch that uses electronic paper. The company intends to release only 500 units in January worldwide, using the novelty of the product to spark new demand for wristwatches.

The new wristwatch is designed like a bracelet, with the thin, bendable e-paper trimmed in stainless steel. A black-and-white pattern of stripes on the watch changes every hour.
